The organization SoDESH started in 1995 in Satkhira district with the vision is to establish sustainable poverty free democratic society where good governance and gender equality should be ensured and improve the livelihood security of the vulnerable and poor people in the southwest part of Bangladesh, especially Satkhira, Khulna, and Jessore district.

Rally and Discussion Held on the Occasion of International Women's Day in Satkhira

Various rallies and discussions were held in Satkhira on the occasion of International Women's Day with the theme "Digital technology and innovation, will end gender discrimination". On the occasion of the day, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Kazi Arifur Rahman inaugurated the rally organized by the Directorate of District Administration and Women Affairs and National Women's Organization, Satkhira at 9:30 am on Wednesday, March 8, and met in the discussion meeting.
